Volleyball Game Preview: Cisne Runnin' Lions vs. Flora Wolves

The Cisne Runnin' Lions will challenge the Flora Wolves on Saturday. The last three games Cisne has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Cisne is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Altamont just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Cisne sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-22, 19-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Flora came up short against Fairfield on Thursday and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12.

Flora's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Cisne, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Cisne was able to grind out a solid win over Flora in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Runnin' Lions since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
