Basketball Recap: Mascenic Regional Skates Past Pittsfield with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mascenic Regional). They claimed a resounding 69-36 victory over the Pittsfield Panthers. The win was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on three straight.

Mascenic Regional pushed their record up to 5-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Pittsfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mascenic Regional will challenge Holy Family Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 31st. As for Pittsfield, they will venture away from home to challenge Franklin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
