Volleyball Recap: Halifax County Comets vs. Tunstall Trojans
Halifax County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Tunstall Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Comets of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-15.
Halifax County's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Tunstall, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Halifax County will face off against Dan River at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tunstall, they and Magna Vista are set to duel on Thursday.
