Recap: Imagine School at North Port Sharks vs. Lemon Bay Manta Rays        
        
		
            
 The Imagine School at North Port Sharks lost against the Lemon Bay Manta Rays back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Saturday. Imagine School at North Port fell  55-45 to Lemon Bay. Imagine School at North Port has not had much luck with Lemon Bay recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
 Imagine School at North Port's loss  came despite strong showings from  Peyton Rassbach and  Wesley Woods.  Rassbach  scored 15 points, while  Woods  scored ten points. That's the first time this season that  Rassbach  scored 15 or more  points.  Brennen Taft was another key contributor,  scoring six points.
 Leading Lemon Bay to victory were  Elias Gambrell and  Cooper Benedict.  Gambrell  dropped  a double-double on ten points and 13  rebounds, while  Benedict  scored 14 points along with nine  rebounds. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of  Adam Schwartz, who  scored six points.
 Imagine School at North Port has  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Lemon Bay,  the  victory  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-7.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Imagine School at North Port will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sarasota Christian at 7:00  p.m.  on January 3, 2024. Lemon Bay and Bonita Springs will face off  at 7:00  p.m.  on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Bonita Springs is hoping to put an end to  an eight-game streak of away losses.
