Volleyball Recap: South Forsyth War Eagles vs. Johns Creek Gladiators
South Forsyth had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Johns Creek Gladiators on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.
The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20.
Ava Erickson paced South Forsyth's offense, picking up four kills. Erickson got some help from Avery Russell and her six assists. Russell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
South Forsyth will be taking part in a tournament against River Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Johns Creek, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Pace Academy on the 7th.
