Football Preview: Northgate Vikings vs. McIntosh Chiefs
Northgate is a perfect 6-0 against McIntosh since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Vikings are taking a road trip to challenge the Chiefs at 7:30 p.m. Northgate will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
Northgate's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Banneker to the tune of 31-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Vikings just coasted through the last quarter.

Northgate found their leader in sophomore Woody Schettini, who rushed for 138 yards and two TDs. Schettini's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 110 rushing yards. Ledger Clements was another key player, throwing for 103 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Meanwhile, McIntosh fell victim to Lovejoy and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 21-0 to the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Chiefs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Wildcats are ranked 74th).
