Basketball Recap: Bald Knob's Loss Ends Ten-Game Winning Streak at Home

Bald Knob suffered their biggest defeat since December 2, 2023 on Friday. They took a blow against the Harding Academy Wildcats, falling 53-26. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harding Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Claire Citty, who went 7 of 16 on her way to 19 points along with six boards and three steals. The contest was Citty's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Byrd, who went 5 for 10 en route to 16 points.

Bald Knob's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-4. As for Harding Academy, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

Bald Knob will face off against Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Episcopal will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bald Knob surely won't give up without a fight.
