Soccer Recap: Hays Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Hays was not quite Liberty Hill's equal in the second half on Friday. They came up short against the Liberty Hill Panthers, falling 3-0. The Hawks have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meetings.

Hays' defeat dropped their record down to 12-7-2. As for Liberty Hill, they pushed their record up to 17-4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Hays will face off against Lehman at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hays is facing Lehman at the right time seeing as Lehman is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Liberty Hill, they are taking a road trip to challenge Cedar Park at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Park will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Liberty Hill surely won't give up without a fight.
