Recap: Koliganek Huskies vs. Togiak Huskies

While it was all tied up 28-28 at halftime, the Koliganek Huskies were not quite the Togiak Huskies's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell 58-48 to the Huskies. Koliganek just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, Koliganek still got an impressive performance from Ezra Panamarioff, who scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Panamarioff has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Andy Andrew, who scored eight points.

Koliganek's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-4. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Togiak, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Koliganek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-15 victory vs. Aleknagik on the 9th. Togiak has also already played their next matchup, a 80-59 loss against Manokotak on the 9th.
