Wilmington waltzed into their contest on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 10-7 win over the Mercer Mustangs. This was payback for the Greyhounds, who suffered a 7-5 loss the last time these two teams met.
Avery Harlan was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Karah Deal, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Wilmington pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
