Volleyball Recap: Ashton-Franklin Center Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ashton-Franklin Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Eastland Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-9.

Ashton-Franklin Center's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Eastland, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Eastland will take on Newman Central Catholic at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Ashton-Franklin Center will be paying especially close attention to the Cougars' match: after the Cougars face off against the Comets, they'll take on Ashton-Franklin Center again at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
