Baseball Game Preview: Bath County Chargers vs. Parry McCluer Fighting Blues

Bath County is 2-8 against Parry McCluer since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Chargers will head out to challenge the Fighting Blues at 5:00 p.m. Bath County has given up an average of 8.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bath County came up short against James River on Monday, falling 15-4.

W Campbell was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Parry McCluer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 9-6 to Eastern Montgomery.

Bath County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Parry McCluer, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Bath County might still be hurting after the 13-1 defeat they got from Parry McCluer in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Chargers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
