Baseball Recap: Belton Comes Up Short

Belton was the 3-2 winner over Pleasant Hill when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Belton fell just short of Pleasant Hill by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Belton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pleasant Hill, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Belton will challenge Platte County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pleasant Hill, they will square off against Van Horn at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
