Football Recap: Scotts Hill Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Scotts Hill extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to nine on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They were beaten by the Summertown Eagles 43-12. On the bright side, the 12- point performance marked the Lions' highest-scoring game to date.

As for Summertown, they now have a winning record of 3-2. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Summertown can attribute much of their success to Max Dillard, who rushed for 75 yards and one score on only eight carries, and also threw for 73 yards and one touchdown on only five passes.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Scotts Hill will take on rival Mt. Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Summertown is set to face off against their familiar foe Lewis County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
