Lake Travis came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Arlington Colts by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Cavaliers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lake Travis easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-6.

Maggie Wheeler paced Lake Travis' offense, picking up nine kills. Wheeler got some help from Adyson Davis and her 12 assists.

Lake Travis' win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Arlington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Lake Travis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Canyon on the 22nd. As for Arlington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Clear Creek on the 22nd.
