Volleyball Recap: CHESS Christian Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for CHESS Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Dominion Academy Sabers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-8, 25-20.

Esther Carter paced CHESS Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Carter were helped by Greta Miron and Sofia Tumpak, who contributed ten assists each. Kate Magoto controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

The win got CHESS Christian back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. CHESS Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Royalmont Academy Classical Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dominion Academy will face off against rival Germantown Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
