Crowe and Arenas combined for 85 points during a head-to-head meeting in Southern California earlier this month.

Jason Crowe Jr of Lynwood (Calif.) is one of high school basketball’s leading scorers nationally, according to statistics submitted to MaxPreps. The five-star sophomore won a state championship as a freshman and scored his 2,000th career point earlier this month. Averaging 36.3 points per game, Crowe Jr. has scored at least 40 points in nine games this season, including a pair of 50-point outbursts.

Fellow Southern California sophomore Alijah Arenas of Chatsworth is also on the list at 35.3 points per contest. The son of NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas has scored at least 20 points in every game this season and piled up 51 points on Jan. 19.

Paul McNeil Jr. of Richmond (Rockingham, N.C.) jumped up on the list after a 71-point state record performance on Jan. 16. The senior North Carolina State commit also has a 50-point game this year.

Grayson Rigdon of Benjamin (Texas) is worth a mention. He would be at the top of the leaderboard but fell short of the minimum contests requirement of 11. Rigdon is averaging 43.7 points per game across 10 contests.
