MacArthur had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They put the hurt on the Harlandale Indians with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

While MacArthur won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-20.

MacArthur's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ella McCoy, who had eight kills and six digs. McCoy is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Sadie Becho was another key player, getting 16 digs and two assists.

Despite the loss, Harlandale still got an impressive performance from Cristine Flores, who had eight digs and three aces.

MacArthur's victory bumped their record up to 21-11. As for Harlandale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-15 record this season.

MacArthur will venture away from home to take on Winn at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harlandale, they will welcome Medina Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
