Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Bloomfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They took down the Tri County Northeast Wolfpack 49-35 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bees also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Madyson Mlady had a dynamite game for Bloomfield, almost dropping a double-double on 26 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Haley Eisenhauer, who posted five points and three steals.

Despite the loss, Tri County Northeast saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Joslyn Mackling went 8 of 16 on her way to 19 points and six steals. The dominant performance gave Mackling a new career-high in points.

The victory got Bloomfield back to even at 1-1. As for Tri County Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Bloomfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-38 loss against Stuart on the 10th. As for Tri County Northeast, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 43-22 win against Tekamah-Herman on the 9th.
