            South Newton hasn't had much luck against West Central recently, but that could start to change  on Friday. The Rebels will host the Trojans  at 6:30  p.m. South Newton has given up an average of 30.4  points per game this season, but Friday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
South Newton's offense might be in the hot seat  on Friday considering what happened against Frontier  on Friday. They were beaten by the Falcons 49-0. Considering the last time the Rebels couldn't score was  back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.
Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for West Central, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Friday. They breezed past North White to the tune of  44-0 on Friday. Considering the Trojans have won seven contests by more than 25  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
West Central's win came from a few key players South Newton will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Drea Villarreal, who rushed for 120 yards and one  score on only 12 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional  recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 120  rushing yards.  Felipe Bazan was another key player, gaining 78 total yards and three touchdowns.
 West Central was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 204  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 180  rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
