Rocklin won the last time they faced Folsom and things went their way on Thursday too. The Thunder came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 7-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunder.
Cat Alston was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in May of 2025. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addie Titlow, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Savannah Quayle, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one run.
Rocklin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Folsom only posted a batting average of .250.
Rocklin's record is now 15-4. As for Folsom, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.
We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rocklin is set to square off against their familiar foe Oak Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Thunder 1.6, the Trojans 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Folsom will take on rival Granite Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
