Baseball Game Preview: Glenbard South Raiders vs. Glenbard East Rams

For the second straight game, Glenbard South will face off against Glenbard East. The Raiders will host the Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Glenbard South has given up an average of 6.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Glenbard South is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They lost 11-5 to Glenbard East.

Frankie Cassata and Joe DeMeo stepped up to the plate in a big way. Cassata got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, while DeMeo went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Tommy Burke also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Glenbard East has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Glenbard South, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
