Flag Football Game Preview: Horizon Honors Eagles vs. Mayer Wildcats + Official Tickets

The Horizon Honors Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Mayer Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Horizon Honors is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 36 points on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Gilbert Christian on Wednesday. They fell 17-7 to the Knights.

Meanwhile, Mayer owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They blew past Mohave Accelerated 30-0. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The win made it two in a row for Mayer and bumps their season record up to 2-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 13 points in those games. As for Horizon Honors, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
