Volleyball Recap: Mingo Valley Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Crossover Prep on Thursday, Mingo Valley Christian came back down to earth. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tournament Opponent on Saturday. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to Tournament Opponent from their previous meeting back in August of 2022.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 26-24.

Mingo Valley Christian now has a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Tournament Opponent will take on Lithia Springs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Mingo Valley Christian will be paying especially close attention to Tournament Opponent's game: after Tournament Opponent face off against the Lions, they'll take on Mingo Valley Christian again at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
