Boone Grove came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Valparaiso Vikings.

While Boone Grove won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22.

Boone Grove's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Max Pollnow led the charge by getting ten assists and five digs.

Boone Grove's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. As for Valparaiso, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Boone Grove will challenge rival Tri-Township at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Valparaiso is set to take on their familiar foe Merrillville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
