Volleyball Recap: Odessa's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Odessa won the last time they faced Pleasant Hill and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Roosters/Chicks. The game was the first time the Bulldogs have beaten the Roosters/Chicks on their court since October 24, 2019.

Kinley Clancy paced Odessa's offense, picking up six kills. Clancy got some help from Kyla Stokes and her ten assists. Clancy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

With the victory, Odessa broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8. As for Pleasant Hill, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Coincidentally, Odessa and Pleasant Hill will both be playing St. Pius X the next time they take the court. The Roosters/Chicks will head out to face the Warriors at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
