Volleyball Recap: Liberal Takes a Loss

Liberal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the East Aces. If the Redskins were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Aces when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-12.

Liberal's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for East, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.

Coming up, Liberal will head out to square off against Haysville Campus on Tuesday. As for East, they will challenge Southeast at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup will give the Aces their first taste of in-conference action this season.
