Softball Recap: Broome Takes a Loss

Broome was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the American Leadership Academy Patriots, falling 13-4.

Broome's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for American Leadership Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-6-1 record.

Looking ahead, Broome will square off against Landrum at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Broome has given up an average of 12 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for American Leadership Academy, they will face off against Saluda at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. American Leadership Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
