Wimberley has won 14 straight games at home, while Canyon Lake has won 14 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Texans will host the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Canyon Lake took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Wimberley, who comes in off a win.
On Friday, Wimberley got the win against Bandera by a conclusive 3-0.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Wimberley took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-9, 25-14.

Wimberley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Skylar Herring, who had five digs and two aces. Herring has been hot, having also posted 13 or more assists the last five times she's played.
Meanwhile, Canyon Lake unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Friday. They lost 3-0 to Davenport.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13, 25-21.
Canyon Lake's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 19-12. As for Wimberley, their victory bumped their record up to 35-5.
Wimberley was able to grind out a solid win over Canyon Lake in their previous matchup back in August, winning 2-0. Do the Texans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
