Hoggard won against Ashley last Friday with 75 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Hoggard Vikings breezed past the South Brunswick Cougars to the tune of 75-48. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Hoggard's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Flanner Patterson, who went 7-for-9 en route to 14 points and eight rebounds. That's the most points Patterson has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Will Seward, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 15 points.

Hoggard was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Brunswick only nine assists.

When it comes to explaining why South Brunswick lost, don't look at Jeremiah Ellis. Despite the final result, he went 9-for-15 on his way to 20 points along with five boards and three steals. Ellis continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Hoggard has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points over those games. South Brunswick dropped their record down to 5-17 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

Hoggard wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 65-40 loss against New Hanover on the 13th. As for South Brunswick, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-53 defeat against West Brunswick on the 13th.
