Volleyball Recap: Eastern Wayne Takes a Loss

Eastern Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the North Lenoir Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-10, 25-9.

Eastern Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for North Lenoir, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

Looking ahead, Eastern Wayne will welcome SouthWest Edgecombe at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Lenoir, they will venture away from home to challenge North Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
