Recap: College Park Falcons vs. Irvington Vikings
The College Park Falcons pushed their score all the way to 68 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 74-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of Irvington. College Park was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Irvington apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Despite the loss, College Park still got an impressive performance from Miles Smith, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Michael Wray, who scored 11 points.
This is the second loss in a row for College Park and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Irvington, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
College Park will take on Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Irvington, they will be playing at home against San Leandro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
