It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lord Botetourt can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Christiansburg Blue Demons on Thursday. The Cavaliers' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Lord Botetourt was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Christiansburg work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 27-25, 17-25, 25-15.

Christiansburg can attribute much of their success to Reese Hall, who had eight digs and two aces.

Lord Botetourt's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Christiansburg, they pushed their record up to 25-0 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home.

Lord Botetourt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christiansburg, they will challenge Abingdon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
