Baseball Recap: Crockett Takes a Loss

Crockett had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Apple Springs Eagles, falling 9-1. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 13 in a row.

The victory made it two in a row for Apple Springs and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Crockett will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lovelady at 7:00 p.m. on March 11th. As for Apple Springs, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 6-5 win against Latexo on the 1st.
