Baseball Game Preview: Sheboygan Area Lutheran Crusaders vs. Gibraltar/Washington Island Vikings

The Sheboygan Area Lutheran Crusaders will venture away from home to take on the Gibraltar/Washington Island Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sheboygan Area Lutheran comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Sheboygan Area Lutheran couldn't beat Oostburg on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Crusaders might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-6 to the Flying Dutchmen, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

James Schulze made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. Brock Seefeldt was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Gibraltar/Washington Island took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over Hilbert.

Sheboygan Area Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Gibraltar/Washington Island, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
