Soccer Game Preview: Palisade vs. Grand Junction Central

The Palisade Bulldogs will square off against the Grand Junction Central Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grand Junction Central took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Palisade, who comes in off a win.

Palisade's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Coal Ridge. That six goal margin sets a new team best for Palisade this season.

Meanwhile, Grand Junction Central fell victim to Grand Junction and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Tigers. That's two games in a row now that Grand Junction Central have lost by exactly ten goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Grand Junction Central and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Palisade, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Palisade was able to grind out a solid victory over Grand Junction Central in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
