Volleyball Recap: Tolland Takes a Loss

Tolland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Berlin Redcoats, falling 3-0. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Redcoats from their previous meeting back in September of 2022.

While Tolland was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-23, 25-18.

Tolland's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Berlin, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Tolland and Berlin will both be playing Avon the next time they take the court. The Redcoats will host the Falcons at 5:45 p.m. on Monday, while the Eagles will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
