Soccer Recap: Rome Triumphs

After failing to score in their last matchup, Rome made sure to put some goals up on the board against Osborne on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Osborne Cardinals a 10-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Emily Cooper as she scored five goals for her team.

Rome's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Osborne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Rome will head out on the road to square off against South Paulding at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rome is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.9 goals per game this season. As for Osborne, they will be playing at home against Pebblebrook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Osborne is facing Pebblebrook at the right time seeing as Pebblebrook is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
