Webster Schroeder faced Penfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Warriors came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost four in a row.

Webster Schroeder's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Penfield, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Webster Schroeder and Spencerport will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Penfield, they will take on Baldwinsville at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday.
