Baseball Recap: Longmeadow Lancers vs. Maloney Spartans
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Friday as neither Longmeadow nor Maloney made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Lancers walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Spartans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.
Longmeadow got a great performance from B Koegel as he pitched 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Koegel has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.
