Badger extends home winning streak to 16

The Badger Braves had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.9 points), and they went ahead and made it 11 on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat St. John 67-30 at home. Considering Badger has won nine contests by more than 22 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Katie Grexa continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Badger's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Betts, who scored 17 points.

When it comes to explaining why St. John lost, one person who can't be blamed is alyssa cevera. Despite the final result, she scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Izzy Holler, who scored four points along with four steals.

Badger pushed their record up to 11-1 with that win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. As for St. John, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Badger will square off against Harding at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Harding will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 735th, while Badger is ranked 234th). As for St. John, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Horizon Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. Horizon Science Academy is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
