A Season-Best Effort from Joe Steiner Leads Eaglecrest over Smoky Hill

On Saturday, Eaglecrest got the W thanks in part to Joe Steiner playing the best football he has all season. Steiner threw for 296 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 72 yards and two touchdowns.

Unfortunately for Smoky Hill, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Steiner. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Steiner saw the Buffaloes), he threw for 282 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.3 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 52 yards on only five carries.
