After a string of three wins, University School's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Marysville Monarchs by a score of 7-6.

Bryce Fielding and Deacon Nelson stepped up to the plate in a big way. Fielding got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base, while Nelson went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Aaron Moss was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

University School's loss dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Marysville, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Coincidentally, University School and Marysville will both be playing Grove City the next time they take the field. The Preppers will head out to face the Greyhounds at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Monarchs will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
