The Eastern Alamance Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Western Alamance Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Eastern Alamance comes in on six and Western Alamance on three.
Eastern Alamance's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Person with a sharp 10-0 victory.

03/10/25 vs Oak Grove | 4 |

The result came thanks to Delani Straughan's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up ten Ks. Those ten strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, Eastern Alamance let Mckenzie Blevins and Kayden Manning run wild. Blevins went 1-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base, while Manning scored a run while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits Manning has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Rachel Byrd, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, Western Alamance made easy work of Person on Thursday and carried off a 10-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Bayleigh Burris was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ryan Justice, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-5.
Western Alamance hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in four consecutive contests.
Eastern Alamance pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Western Alamance, their record is now 8-6.
Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Eastern Alamance hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .347. However, it's not like Western Alamance struggles in that department as they've averaged .449. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Eastern Alamance took their victory against Western Alamance when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
