Basketball Recap: Cusick Takes a Loss

Cusick has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost 65-43 to the Valley Christian Panthers on Thursday. The match marked Cusick's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Valley Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Burns out in front who went 15 of 28 en route to 25 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Westen Madden, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards.

Cusick's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Valley Christian, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-7.
