Basketball Recap: Coral Gables Comes Up Short

Coral Gables lost against Miami back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Coral Gables Cavaliers received a blow as they fell 75-59 to the Miami Stingarees. The game marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Coral Gables and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Miami, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Coral Gables and ABF Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Miami will take on Mater Lakes Academy in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
