Baseball Game Preview: Casey County Rebels vs. Adair County Indians

The Casey County Rebels will face off against the Adair County Indians at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Casey County has given up an average of 9 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Casey County's offense. They came up short against Russell County on Tuesday, falling 22-0. The Rebels' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Adair County made easy work of Green County on Thursday and carried off a 15-4 victory. Considering the Indians have won 12 contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Adair County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Green County only posted an OBP of .375.

Adair County is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Casey County, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-18.
