Baseball Game Preview: Bardstown Tigers vs. Cumberland County Panthers

The Bardstown Tigers will square off against the Cumberland County Panthers at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Bardstown has given up an average of 9.2 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Bardstown came up short against Shelby County and fell 12-7.

Bardstown saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Nalley, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Another was Colton Metcalfe, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Cumberland County suffered their closest defeat since April 14th on Saturday. They fell just short of Estill County by a score of 8-6. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bardstown's loss dropped their record down to 3-16-1. As for Cumberland County, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.
