 After seven games on the road, Doddridge County is heading back home. They will take on the Webster County Highlanders at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Given that  both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  matchup.
 Doddridge County's 24-10 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They fell  9-4 to Tyler on Monday. Doddridge County has struggled against Tyler recently, as their  contest on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
  Caleb Sutton made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Colt Sutton, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, sadly, Webster County is still looking for their first win of the season after five  matches. They suffered a  tough 16-0 defeat at the hands of Tygarts Valley  in Monday's  second game.
 Doddridge County's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Webster County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
 Doddridge County took their  win against Webster County  in their previous meeting  back in March by a conclusive  24-2. Will Doddridge County repeat their success,  or does  Webster County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
