Baseball Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Lakeside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Minden Crimson Tide. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crimson Tide apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.

Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Minden, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

While Lakeside had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
